Founded in 1981, the Game Fair is the largest hunting and rural lifestyle show in France. Held in Lamotte-Beuvron, in the heart of the Sologne, it attracts more than 90,000 visitors each year, coming to discover the latest innovations in the sector, meet exhibitors from across Europe and share their common passion for life in the great outdoors.

Spread across more than 400 hectares, the Game Fair brings together over 600 exhibitors around a wide range of themes: weapons, ammunition, dogs, outdoor equipment, gastronomy, local crafts, eco-tourism, and more. The atmosphere is convivial, authentic and deeply rooted in French rural traditions.

The 44th Edition Celebrating China

The 2026 Game Fair will take place from 12 to 14 June 2026 in Lamotte-Beuvron, in the leafy surroundings of the Federal Equestrian Park. This year, the guest country of honour will be China, showcasing its hunting traditions, culture and gastronomy.

11 Themed Villages to Experience Game Fair 2026

The 2026 edition is organised around 11 themed villages, each dedicated to a specific world. Hunting, gastronomy, crafts, livestock… everything comes together for a total immersion in traditions and expertise.

  • The China Village in the spotlight: for the Year of the Horse, the China Village celebrates this animal as a bridge between Chinese and French culture.
  • The Hunting Village: the central hub of the show, bringing together the leading brands in weapons, optics, technical clothing and accessories, with hundreds of specialist stands.
  • The Dog Village and the Hound Village – FAAC: spaces for exchange with breeders, trainers and associations, featuring demonstrations, competitions and over 750 dogs in attendance.
  • The Barbecue and Game Meat Village: a new area dedicated to outdoor cooking, with culinary demonstrations and gatherings of passionate food lovers.
  • The Fishing Village: simulators, activities and equipment for all types of anglers, from beginners to experts.
  • The Archery Hunting Village: equipment trials, introductory sessions and expert guidance.
  • The Venery Village: celebrating the traditions of hunt riding, with hunting horns, mounted hunts and unique expertise.
  • The Cutlers / Animal Artists and Craftspeople Village: art objects, knives, daggers, sculptures — a space blending technical precision and creativity.
  • The Clay Pigeon Shooting Village: 80 launchers, 50 shooting stations and 120,000 cartridges for France’s largest temporary clay shooting range.
